RESULTS
Gradual fading. Cleaner skin. More freedom.
Pico treatment breaks ink or pigment into smaller particles so the body can gradually clear them through the lymphatic system.
For tattoo removal, results build over a course of sessions. Good hydration, circulation and proper aftercare support the process.
AFTERCARE
Pico aftercare
Follow the aftercare guidelines carefully to support healing, comfort and best possible results after your treatment.
First 24–48 Hours
- Apply ice and elevate the treated area for the first night.
- No exercise during the initial recovery period.
- Avoid high-pressure showers, hot showers and soaking in a bath.
- Avoid heat, hot tubs and saunas.
- Use non-aspirin over-the-counter pain medication only if needed.
First 14 Days
- Keep the treated area moist and protected.
- Apply a thin layer of Suavigel, Cicaplast or Bepanthen 3 times daily.
- Slight scabbing is expected and may last 7–14 days.
- Do not pick scabs or scrub the treated area.
- Keep the area covered and avoid sun exposure.
Once Fully Healed
- Rub the area with Vitamin E Oil or E45 Cream daily.
- Gently massage the treated area 5–10 minutes daily.
- Take walks or do gentle activity to support circulation.
- Drink lots of water to assist your body with flushing ink fragments.
- Avoid smoking and excessive alcohol as this can slow the process.
Blisters
- Blisters can be a normal part of the ink removal process.
- Do not pop blisters. Let them reabsorb and ooze naturally.
- Apply ice packs to reduce discomfort and elevate if possible.
- Use antibacterial spray or ointment 3–4 times per day if advised.
- Do not remove blister skin as it protects the area.
Pigmentation Treatment
- Moisturise and keep the area hydrated at all times.
- Avoid sun exposure for 2–4 weeks after treatment.
- Use broad-spectrum SPF50+ and preferably cover the treated area.
- Pigmentation may appear darker at first, then lighten over 1–4 weeks.
- Do not pick any scabs that may form.
Avoid
- Avoid heat for 1–2 weeks after treatment.
- Avoid skin irritants for at least 7–10 days.
- Avoid tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide and exfoliating acids.
- Avoid vitamin C, astringents and harsh active products until advised.
- Contact Coco immediately if the area becomes red, painful or infected-looking.
