POST CARE
Tixel aftercare
Proper aftercare is essential for comfort, healing, and optimal results. Follow the guidance below carefully after your treatment.
First 24 Hours
- Your skin may feel warm and sunburnt for approximately 2–4 hours after treatment.
- Do not wash the treated area on the evening of your treatment.
- Use only the post-care cream provided by the clinic.
- Avoid gym, exercise, saunas, jacuzzis, and hot showers or baths on the day of treatment.
Days 1–4
- The following morning, gently cleanse the treated area.
- Keep the skin hydrated using your recommended post-care cream at least 3–4 times daily.
- This helps prevent dryness, tightness, and itchiness.
- Use only products recommended by your Aesthetician or Doctor.
What to Avoid
- No harsh exfoliators or acids for 14 days.
- No retinols for at least 14 days.
- No chemical peels for at least 14 days.
- Avoid overheating the skin during early recovery.
SPF & Makeup
- Use sunscreen daily.
- For non-ablative treatments: sunscreen the following day.
- For ablative treatments: sunscreen 2 days after treatment.
- Makeup or BB cream: non-ablative the following day, ablative after 2 days.
